We have today 28/01/2025 experienced a total power loss on our Mucklestone site. This is not believed to be related to the electrical testing due tomorrow.
It is also stressed that there was no data loss nor interruption to service.

14:48 Total power loss and transfer of load on to UPS batteries.
14:48 Our standby diesel generator automatically kicked in, and within 12 seconds we then transferred from UPS’s to running on backup power generated by MASL.
14:50 Mark checked all the breakers, and all were set, so it was an upsteam problem, ie a problem from outside.
15:01 Power was restored and the generator automatically shut itself down. The generator has now returned to standby mode.
Action Points
15:09 As load was first transferred to the UPS’s then the generator, Mark to check the UPS batteries and the fluid levels on the generator later.
