Please be aware that all of our bespoke applications will move from our old cluster to our new one on Sunday 05/05/2024 and there will be no access while data is synchronised. Work will commence at 18:00 and be complete by midnight. Please inform any colleagues who intend to work over the bank holiday weekend.

18:10 – Outage started.
18:50 – Data being migrated to the new cluster.
20:20 – Applications being migrated along with the patch needed for the latest Perl.
22:15 – All data successfully migrated.
22:20 – Checking appliations with 2FA (two factor authentication) work.
22:30 – Checking all appliations can read/write to their databases.
22:50 – All applications appear to be working on the new cluster.
23:15 – Can’t see any issues or matters arising from the migration.
23:20 – Change DNS to point www.MarkAndrewSmith.com at the new cluster.
23:25 – Task successfully complete.
